An Shin Ae (안신애; more well known as Shinae An Wheeler, and also known as Sparkly Cat) is a South Korean multi talented musician. She is the founder and leader of The Barberettes, a retro doo-wop female music group.

Born July 30, 1986 in Seongnam, An Shin Ae graduated from Seoul Institute of the Arts and even has started her musical career since age 15. She was signed to SM Entertainment as backing vocalist for BoA and Fly to the Sky, and even wrote lyrics for BoA's Romance from the album Hurricane Venus. Her name is listed as a vocal participant on 110 released records registered in the Federation of Korean Music Performers (FKMP), since 2002. She is also a radio panelist on English program "K-Popular" of TBSeFM, teaches at Kwangwoon Conservatory of Music, provides free music classes, and worked with charities for disadvantaged teenagers in Seoul.

In 2012, she alongside friends Grace Kim and Park So Hee, founded The Barberettes for fun; with the idea to create a retro-inspired group. They are inspired by 50-60's doo-wop and Motown acts, both musically and visually. Their biggest inspiration and idol is The Kim Sisters, who were lacking recognition at the time yet successfully signed with Motown and frequently performed on The Ed Sullivan Show.

With The Barberettes, An Shin Ae gained success, both locally and overseas. They have performed on 2015 SXSW Austin and other cities including Toronto, London, Melbourne, New York City, and many others.
