Beatcraft Cyclon (Korean: 비트크래프트 사이클론) is an arcade music game published and developed by Nurijoy in South Korea. The game was officially released in Korea on 11 August 2014.

Announcement

Nurijoy released the teaser of the game, known as "project736T" at that time, on 6 May 2014.

The first promotion video was released on 29 May 2014. The PV revealed the name of the game for the first time and previews of some of playable songs in the game. It ends with the message "ARCADE THE FIRST" along with the silhouette of the cabinet resemble to DJMAX Technika's cabinet, suggested that the game is multi-platform and its arcade version will use DJMAX Technika's cabinet.

Gameplay

The gameplay is very similar to SEGA's MaiMai. There is a circular area on the screen. The circular shape notes will appear from the center and move toward the perimeter which is the area the player have to touch and play them.

There are 4 type of notes

  • Single Note (Green) simple touch the note once when it hit the perimeter area.
  • Hold Note (Blue) keep pressing the note until the end of the blue line.
  • Swing Note (Yellow) flick the note toward the arrow direction.
  • Drag Note (Red) keep pressing and following the note until the end of the red line.
