Humming Urban Stereo's Lee Jeereen.

Humming Urban Stereo (허밍 어반 스테레오) is one of two musical projects started by South Korean music composer Lee Jeereen, the other being Instant Romantic Floor. Lee debuted Humming Urban Stereo into the mainstream with the first album Very Very Nice! and Short Cake in January 2005. Perhaps one of HUS' peak popularity came at the release of Purple Drop (2006) album, where the song Hawaiian Couple become an instant hit. It reportedly sold over 500,000 downloads and even featured on the popular Korean film My Love in 2007.

Lee Jeereen employed various vocalists for Humming Urban Stereo. Although no vocalists become regular members of the project, two people are considered the heart and soul of Humming Urban Stereo. They are Shina-E and Lee Jinhwa, more famously known as Humming Girl. Currently, Shina-E isn't featured in HUS' project as often as she used to, and Humming Girl, unfortunately, passed away in 2012 due to heart disease. Other vocalists often featured in Humming Urban Stereo's songs are Yozoh, Brown Bunny, and RISSO.
